An amazing Job opportunity has just opened for a committed registered general nurse to work with one of UK's Leading Healthcare Providers. We are looking for a passionate and caring individual with a proven ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team within a highly reputable service based in Dewsbury.

 

About the service

Located in Dewsbury, this hospital provides a specialist inpatient service for adults and older age males with severe and enduring mental health conditions, who may also have an undiagnosed memory related illness.

Our client also provides a specialist Neuro cognitive and dementia care service for males presenting with very agitated or aggressive behaviour.

 

As a nurse, your duties will include:

·         Working within a team

·         Assisting and supporting staff in the management of the Jubilee Ward.

·         Making an effective contribution to providing high quality care to all patients.

·         Being responsible for undertaking and managing patient care.

·         The delivery of care (both individual and group sessions)

·         Participating in patient assessments, planning and evaluation.

 

About you

In order to be applicable for the Registered Nurse’s role you will need to be a hard working and confident individual.

You must have the following skills and knowledge as they are beneficial for this role:

 

·         Qualified RGN

·         Extensive experience in dementia care.

·         Excellent interpersonal skills when liaising with members of the multi-disciplinary team, external agencies and organisations, patients and relatives.

·         A good working knowledge of the mental health act.

·         The ability to demonstrate genuine commitment and enthusiasm for working with this client group.

The Registered Nurse’s position is full time (40 hours per week) and the successful nurse will receive an excellent annual salary of £29,182 - £30,180 PA plus generous benefits in return of all their hard work and commitment.  Benefits include:
